Redeem Points

Wyndham Rewards has a refreshingly simple rewards redemption structure compared to other programs. You can book rooms at 30000+ hotels, vacation club resorts, and vocational rentals using your reward points.

Wyndham Rewards Redeem Points

Wyndham Rewards points can be redeemed in several different ways, but redeeming them for free nights is the most valuable. As well as redeeming for hotels, you can also use your points to purchase gift cards and airline miles. However, these options will usually give you a better deal than redeeming for hotels.

Redeem for Free Nights

Wyndham Rewards makes it easy to earn free hotel stays. Wyndham offers one of the simplest reward charts, with only three tiers of award pricing: 7,500, 15,000, and 30,000 points per night. Most upscale hotels in major cities will fall into the upper tiers, while budget-oriented properties will fall into the lowest tiers.

Depending on the hotel category, “Go Free” rewards require 7,500, 15,000, or 30,000 points per night. There are almost no Wyndham hotels in the second or third tier — only 296 of 9,000 hotels charge 30,000 points per night. In comparison to other programs, Wyndham is less top-heavy.

The “Go Fast” rewards charge just 20% of the required points, plus a cash copay. As a result, members can use 1,500, 3,000, or 6,000 points per night to lower their out-of-pocket expenses. Cash copays for hotel rooms vary with the daily rate and may not represent a substantial saving on peak travel dates.

Other Redemption Options

Wyndham’s partnership with Viator offers tours and activities that can be booked, gift cards to restaurants and retail stores can be redeemed, as well as merchandise purchases. Whenever you redeem points for cash equivalents, you can expect a redemption rate of approximately 0.3 cents per point-this is significantly less than what you would receive from most hotel stays.
